Hi everyone! As I mentioned to you before not one but TWO projects were featured in the August Edition of the Reloved Magazine. The issue is now available in stores (and online) and I got my hands on a copy! I am so excited and happy to be featured in this fabulous magazine!
I found these glass containers and they were still in a good shape, there was slight chipping on one of them and the gold lines were all scratched from the top. I decided to spruce them up a bit using some gold spray paint. Everything looks so much better when it is gold, don’t you think? Continue reading

As I was getting better with my jigsaw, I thought I should do a more challenging task. I used jigsaw to cut out my medium shaped heart when I did my rose decoupage set and I also did a similar diamond shaped HOME sign, but I thought cutting out identical four small hearts would be a bit more challenging. I have seen so many beautiful pieces of furniture done with lace painting and I really wanted to give it a go. I think it gives such a beautiful and unique finish and is such a great way to dress a dated piece.
I didn’t have to wait too long as I got this set of drawers which was in need of some serious TLC and was desperate for a transformation.
It was an old set of drawers, it was very sturdy but it was damaged on the outside, the sides of it were chipped and it just looked so plain. Continue reading
I am known to collect jars, glass containers and little pots so have to come up with new ideas on what to do with them as I just cannot for the life of me throw things out.. A friend of mine kindly gave me a box full of old candle jars and I was super excited about that, as I had many ideas on what to do with them…

I love upcycling and recycling..collecting jars is one of the things I do.. I just can’t seem to throw any jars out as I think there’s so many things you can do with them! I really think the baby food jars are so cute and as some of my friends have babies, I asked them to bring me some empty baby food jars once they have used them for my projects.. There are so many ways to reuse these cute little jars and I couldn’t wait to start.
I really wanted to do some reupholstering for a while now so I was so excited when I got this old chair that was shouting out for a makeover. I was quite nervous as I wasn’t really sure how to do it properly but I was ready for the challenge.. Little did I know that it would involve blood, sweat and tears – literally! Continue reading
This one was quite a transformation and took me a while to actually get it right.. I found this little cabinet totally abandoned, left outside, no one wanted it.. It looked quite nice and I fell in love with the door knob, which was so pretty.. I thought if cannot rescue the cabinet, at least I will have a nice little door knob for my future projects.. I love painting furniture and breathing life into a piece that has been let down over the years.
These nest of tables were solid wood and absolutely beautiful.
A few screws were missing and the surface was scratched a little but I was adamant I will give these tables a second chance in life. Continue reading
